2018 was a year of growth and learning. Learning about my photography and most importantly myself as a person and a business woman. Two high points for my Photography year was being published twice. . .
The first was in February 2018 for a Styled Wedding shoot I created and styled for Montana Bride Magazine. I had been connecting with Montana Bride for a while and they told me to create something using my style so I did just that! I swear in a past life I was an interior designer because the funnest part of that day for me was decorating and re-decorating the spaces. It also helped that all of my friends and family were there that day to help pull it all off... It made me realize how blessed I am to have such talented and inspiring souls always around me helping me grow.
The other was tear worthy- I had the longest summer ever with a new job, traveling, and overbooking myself. I submitted my favorite 2018 wedding at 11PM on a weeknight on a whim to Rocky Mountain Bride, not even expecting a reply. The wedding was beautiful but challenging for me. . . I was by myself in a different town with no help, misplaced a favorite memory card and flash, and on top of that I was shotgunning a sparkler exit at the end of the night for the first time with a new camera... So when I received a quick email from Rocky Mountain Bride's publisher you know I shamelessly started crying happy tears.
I am grateful for my clients and now friends that I made in 2018 and am very much looking forward to the 2019 season and all of the wonderful people I get to create memories with.
